You can heal and grow. I can collaborate with you through life's challenges and changes... including anxiety, stress, and more. Providing a non-judgmental space as you explore your thoughts and feelings to discover your inner strength and resilience.
Caitlin believes that psychotherapy and coaching are part of a larger wellness journey. She is passionate about holistic health and understands that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. The path to growth often involves adversity, resilience, and grit—qualities that build tolerance and allow true transformation to unfold.
Caitlin’s approach is not about “fixing” you. Instead, she brings warmth, creativity, humor, and authenticity into her work—inviting you to do the same. Letting go of perfection and exploring who you are naturally meant to be is at the heart of her philosophy.
She encourages clients to “come as they are” and values the importance of a genuine connection and safe space in each session. Caitlin welcomes the full range of human emotions—from laughter and tears to celebrating the “small wins” that reflect meaningful growth along the way.
Caitlin is passionate about lifelong learning. She continually expands her knowledge and expertise through CEU coursework, professional readings, podcasts, conferences, seminars, speaking engagements, workshops, and specialized training. She also values collaboration and regularly connects with fellow Mental Health Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Doctors, and other Healthcare professionals in the broader field.
Caitlin frequently participates in consultation groups and advocates for Mental Health Awareness. Her clinical focus and client-centered advocacy are thoughtfully tailored to meet the evolving needs of the population she regularly serves.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a break, you're beginning a new chapter—starting fresh in this season of your life with a new Mental Health Practitioner. It’s important to know that it’s completely normal to feel “worse” before you start to feel better. This is a common and expected part of the therapeutic process. As we begin to “unpack” and process deeper thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and patterns—especially those that have been overlooked, avoided, or buried—discomfort may arise. But this is often a sign that meaningful work is beginning.
Psychotherapy via Telehealth encompasses phone, audio, and video formats for appointments. Currently, I offer remote audio sessions for residents in the state of California. I use HIPAA-compliant secure platforms for Telehealth. Psychotherapy sessions are an interactive experience where we discover your goals, passions, and potential growth areas. To help you travel down a path to the life you want.
The length of Therapy uniquely depends on several factors- based on the complexity of your goals, presenting concerns, and consistent openness to your process. Standard therapy sessions are 40-50 minutes. Longer or double sessions can be possible or recommended. Especially for any crises, or couples/family therapy. Initially, I recommend meeting consistently once a week for the best growth.
I kindly ask for a 24-hour cancellation notice. All payments are processed securely online. Please note that fees must be paid in full. Except for a 24-hour cancellation notice. A late cancellation or no-show fee will be charged if there is an un-communicated “no-show” or late cancellation beyond this 24-hour policy.
Great question! Please contact me directly to discuss session fees and (potential) sliding scale options. Noting that I am primarily an out-of-network provider. Therefore, I can offer you a receipt (called a superbill) summarizing your appointments which you can give to your insurance for reimbursement.
Additionally, I do provide limited availability for insurance clients. At this time I do work with Alma and Headway for a few insurance needs. Feel free to contact me for further details and if any openings.
To receive out-of-network reimbursement, I can provide you with a superbill. You can submit this directly to your insurance provider. I recommend calling your insurance provider first to see if they will accept this (out-of-network/superbill) and their specific reimbursement process or policies. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card. Once approved, please let me know how often you would like to receive your superbill- weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Thank you!
